This series seems to have transitioned from cleaning out Aunt Rita’s bookstore and gift shop to focusing on the characters of the story themselves. It’s all valid points and quite surprising as well. The flow of Whispers of Home by Grace Meyers Book 4 is timely and full of surprises!
The three siblings came to Virginia Beach to sort through Aunt Rita’s things never expecting to find treasures along the way. Lily, Mason, and Hannah have each found at least a trinket to remind them of Aunt Rita. It was never expected to find a bag full of foreign money and papers confirming Hannah’s adoption. This stirs up so many questions for Hannah while everyone else seem unaffected.
It’s when Lily faints while on the beach with that hot coffee shop guy, Steven, when life seems to slow down. The hospital runs a wide range of tests to figure out what Lily’s going through. It took a few days in the hospital for Lily’s coloring to return closer to normal. Steven proves to be quite compassionate as he consistently comes by with treats for everyone and to check in Lily.
It’s Mason who surprises his sisters when he goes to the gift shop to get Lily a robe, comfy house slippers, and a magazine to entertain her while stuck at the hospital. Thanks to Mason’s childhood friend, Sarah, who suggested such gifts as a nice gesture.
Whispers of Home Book 4 by Grace Meyers is available on Kindle Unlimited. I give this book 5 out of 5 tiaras because so much happened that I was expecting. The twists in this story takes readers on unexpected journeys!
