No Looking Back Book 6 by Grace Meyers

Now that Ellie and Joyce know the truth about their parents and grandparents, where does that lead them? Joyce still has her job and apartment in Salt Lake to think about. She wasn’t happy about her job and her new boss has been calling her constantly the last couple days. It’s time for Joyce to decide if she’s staying in Eden or returning to Salt Lake. There’s so much to consider either way!

Ellie and McKenna have adjusted to Joyce living in their home. Ellie has been able to return to work as well. The town started talking and sharing varied versions of Ellie and Joyce’s history. It seems at one point, someone thought Joyce was McKenna’s biological mother! They all wonder which church their grandmother was part of because no one wants to admit their church is as judgmental as Ellie and Joyce’s grandparents were.

David has been acting weird, so has several others. Joyce flat out ask them why they’re being so weird. Joyce thought maybe David found another job and had to move or something crazy like that. It was Christmastime after all, when people tend to hide things from others. You can’t share what the gift or surprise is now, can you? It’s all secretive!

I give this book and the series 5 out of 5 tiaras. I enjoyed the storyline and the journey from McKenna showing up at Joyce’s apartment assuming Joyce was related to her to finding out their family had some serious secrets they were hiding!
